Daniel M. Plonsky was born and raised in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He graduated with honors from the University of Miami where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Daniel obtained his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida, and was admitted into the practice of law for the State of Florida in 2003.
After admission to the Florida Bar Association, he was selected for the position of Assistant Attorney General in Tampa, Florida. As an Assistant Attorney General, he gained valuable experience while representing the Department of Children and Families in cases involving child abuse, neglect and abandonment. He represented the State of Florida in hundreds of court hearings and won dozens of trials. As a result, he became an experienced trial litigator.
In 2006, Daniel left the Attorney General's office to enter private practice. As a private attorney, he represented clients in a range of legal matters, including estate planning, probate, medicaid planning, veterans benefits, family law, formation of business entities, and civil litigation. While working for a private law firm, Daniel was shocked to see the large bills that the firm would charge its clients and saw a need to make legal representation affordable for the middle class, hard working individual.
Daniel Plonsky opened his own law office in 2007 so that he can better serve the community and has since been providing exceptional legal services at an affordable cost to the Sarasota and Manatee Counties and surrounding areas. This mission is one of the many reasons Daniel loves what he does.
The Law Office of Daniel M. Plonsky, P.L. is located in Sarasota, Florida. However, Daniel Plonsky is happy to meet clients at their home, place of business, or other locations that are convenient for them.
